the day that we went to the pumping patch, we were told to choose a pumping so that we could take it back with us. we all went and started to look for one, or at least see the ones that where in the field. for me it was a difficult task because i wanted one that was different from the others and that i could say this is mine because it reflects who i am. also i wanted one that i really liked and not change it to another. finally i found it, mine was a white pumping and if i am correct, mine is was the only one that was white.
as a teacher, this observation that i had impacts me because just as i was trying to find the right pumping for me, my students will also be making their work so that it will reflect who they really are. also not every one will make his or hers the same way that the other students will. diversity will play a big role here because even thought they might have a lot of similarities, for example about the same age, not all of them will have the same thoughts. if i am very observant and see how my students work, i will have an idea of who they are and how is it that they are going to learn.
